I notice this. We have a Honda Passport that we use for camping, towing, and transporting bikes. We also own an electric Mini Cooper, which does a lot of work around town. On a freeway the Mini feels like it’s going much faster at the same indicated speed.

I was just now on the Washington Street grade in SD, and the ongoing repair work there has been modified to close a traffic lane and preserve a separated bike lane.

Saw this and was challenged. The mesa foray took me on the 30th and the Meade corridors for the first time, with a swing past Snapdragon. My coffee stop near the end was in OB. Thanks!

I’m just back from my first trip to Florida, where, I learned, a right turn on red has the ROW over a conflicting U-turn from a left turn pocket *with a green arrow*. Sure surprised me the first time…

In the 40s (before I was born) my parents lived in Mission Beach. They sent my sisters to school at Our Lady of Peace in Normal Heights on the trolley via downtown, unaccompanied.
