To answer the question you posted genuinely: common font and layout for ai flyers, and ai flyers almost always have those little icons next to each point, and the ticks checklist at the bottom. That's what made me unsure.

Might do it as a short zine type thing when I have more time. Got too many longform projects in my head as it is. In the meantime, go watch Thief (1981), it's really good and really socialist. And James Caan's wardrobe is *chefs kiss*.

The mobster who exploits Frank for his labor continually lies to him, while also trying to ensure that everything good in Frank's life is from his gracious charity. Then, of course, he uses those things as leverage against him. Like any boss, he's your friend until you stand up for yourself.

Frank is (ironically) constantly having *his* pocket pinched - by the mob, the cops, whoever thinks they can get a taste. His insistence on working for himself, and refusal to "reinvest" his end in mob enterprises, makes him a threat. He's got no interest in "how things are done".

Rather than shiny suits and flashy tech, it's grubby machine shops and well-worn power tools. Frank, the protag, walks into the vault room with a tool belt and sensible work clothes. His equipment is jury-rigged for purpose, he approaches scores with the pragmatic expertise of a good contractor.

Frank (James Caan), the protag of Thief (1981). He's in a fancy vault room, there's marbled decor and a chandelier. He's dressed in basic work clothes - sturdy trousers and a long sleeved shirt. He has a toolbelt crammed with stuff around his waist.

Well shit. I started off a test 3d print for some kickstarter models and the printer's lcd screen completely died. Gonna have to order a new screen, so won't be able to print the test models for the final kickstarter update. Sucks!

Also if we're talking art in general, probs the biggest one is Vangers: One for the Road. It's so joyfully and deliberately inscrutable. It remains the only licensed property that I truly want to write a licensed TTRPG for. The chances are slim, but maybe someday I will!

Empire of Light, by Rene Magritte. I'm honestly not entirely sure why. I think its the subtly of the surrealism. Magritte's work doesn't have the bombast of Dali, but it makes a more interesting point to me - the falsity and construct of images. The contrast between reality and artifice.

At the Tate in London there was (is) a section called the Rothko Room. Rothkos lines the walls. It's maybe the most palpably intense energy I've ever felt in a room. It almost hurt to be in there. It was amazing.

Rebased some 15mm soviets for Chain of Command while something cool was busy rendering.

A miniature soviet rifle platoon in 15mm scale. Two rifle sections, an lmg section, officers, sniper team, three types of gun (antitank, high explosive, hybrid), an hmg team, a commissar, and a flamethrower team.
