My thirteen year old and his friends have distilled the English language down to just two words, “Bro” and “Yo.” Much like the tonal languages of the world, the meaning is entirely in where you place the emphasis. Yo, bro! Yo, bro? Yo! Bro? Yo? Bro! All with distinct meanings. #linguistics
