#sapteched is just over 2 weeks away (yay).. hope is SAP announce enough developer capability in joule studio from a procode/UI perspective so we can envision a future as enterprise developers (albeit with help from agents) beyond just building MCPs and integration!

This makes the cute BABY (BAI P) ABAP environment naming sound like people aren't talking in SAP - clearly stating BTP is not replaced and that BAIP = SAP BTP + SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) + SAP Business Transformation Mgmt (BTM) + AI Foundation I mean ABAP does not include BDC or AI Foundation.

I wonder how quickly the SAP naming would be revisited if we all started saying Babe for BAIP?!Maybe a slightly less controversial way to say it is Baby (BAI P - I mean if RPT-1 can be pronounced Rapid 1...) so they start selling Baby ABAP,Baby Cockpit, Baby AI Core, Baby Joule, etc.

Nice - And vendors are currently charging at a price which people are willing to pay at least (rather than actually being cheap) - My concern is there is an AI bubble and if it pops, I'll need local so I don't have to relearn how to code 😉! (plus be a bit greener)

Listening to quite a few people raising the red flags around AI recently which does get you thinking about the true cost and value of AI (plus all the ethical aspects)...I'm really hoping for some major advances in hardware (including production/cooling) and renewable energy to happen soon.

I mean I was kind of joking - but having the ability to assign only the micro process level access you have to do a task, kind of makes sense, and then that agent is only available to people with at least that access - has a certain "might work" feel to it with user-passthrough.

Simple, you just need to define a good process level EntraID Model that is replicated into CIS and allow these users to delegate specific process level access to agents ;-)
