A little guerrilla vegan advocacy: take a book you own, write a message inspired by its story inside the cover, and donate it to a free book swap. For Animal Farm: “What would ‘all animals are equal’ mean beyond these pages? Go vegan.” Plant a question. Pass it on. 🌱 #Veganism #AnimalRights
Photorealistic mock-up of a wooden book-swap shelf in a railway station. A sign reads “FREE BOOKS - Take a book • Leave a book.” Among the donated books, a red copy of George Orwell’s Animal Farm faces forwards, prominently displaying its cover with a pale pig silhouette.Photorealistic mock-up of Animal Farm opened to its title page on a wooden table. Beneath the printed title and author, George Orwell, a message handwritten in blue biro reads: “What would ‘all animals are equal’ mean beyond these pages? Go vegan.”

The Laughing Cow has lost her smile in a new marketing stunt. Maybe she’s wondering why you’re eating her baby’s milk, where her calf has gone, and why her reward for years of being used is a slaughterhouse. The question isn’t why she stopped laughing. It’s why we ever imagined she would. #Vegan

Not having others enslaved, tortured and killed for your pleasure and convenience is not radical or extreme... It's just the bare minimum level of decency and respect.

I put the question to ChatGPT. This line nails it: “Animals don’t owe you their bodies because you like what you can do with them.” Disagree? What justifies exploiting someone when you have the choice not to? #Vegan #AnimalRights

User: “Is there a valid reason not to be vegan?”

ChatGPT: “If unnecessary animal exploitation is wrong, then no.

Veganism already means avoiding animal exploitation as far as possible and practicable. Genuine necessity is covered. Taste, tradition and convenience don’t turn avoidable exploitation into necessity.

‘But I enjoy it’ isn’t an ethical justification. It’s the preference you’re being asked to justify.

Animals don’t owe you their bodies because you like what you can do with them.”

The system isn't 'broken' - it's fundamentally flawed at its root. The issue isn't 'cruelty' - it's use. Once we have accepted that animals are ours to use - and even kill - for our own pleasure/gain, we give ourselves and others license to do with them pretty much as we see fit. #Veganism
