I suppose it’s better than 3x3 which gives us Paperlate. Well into their syrupy pop-phase by the 80’s. They certainly churned out hits but the original composition and sophistication was the causality

Probably the best version of Dancing in the Streets commercially available- The jamming on this whole release is just incredible. Those lucky enough to be there were also treated to epic Allman Brothers. Shout out to the Bear

Loved “record” shopping- I could spend hours browsing the racks, reading labels and seeing who produced or sat in on various albums… There was also the rush home to tear off the cellophane and crank up the 1st listen. Huge loss overall

His work with Silkroad Ensemble has been fantastic - Yo-Yo created a great project that continues to grow and evolve. Got to see a really good performance with him at Tanglewood a few years back under the stars

I was on Wall St that morning - so many hero’s that day. Across the spectrum. Many unsung who were just going to work and found themselves in a terrible situation and tried to do their best. It felt different looking back - we really seemed to come together especially in NYC.

Saw them a couple times - the scene was always the best part, but they never really clicked for me. Left me wanting more — I think what Grahame’s doing is somehow more authentic and really captures the vibe and the musicians are often fantastic

East Coast here … With a word or two on Tedeschi Trucks Band @Tanglewood MA on Tuesday 🔥. Venue aside (‼️), the band was peak. Versions of “Ohio” and “Dreams” were so incredible. Derek is a master and Susan is a badass - what a frickin’ show.
