I will be at a small game swap in Hamilton, ON today with an OpenXHD demo system with side by side dual analog+OpenXHD HDMI video out, S/PDIF over mini TOSLink audio out, and debug into on screen from the OpenXHD itself. Come buy some games and see the difference an all digital solution makes!

Me too. If I can't use paypal to shield my credit card number from them, I wont be using PCBway at all. Shipping is $6 USD with china post to Canada. A friend stateside has been working on making stencils from thin stock with a laser cutter. Hoping I can have them mailed lettermail in the future.

Ridiculous project of the week: Unhappy with the 2MB storage limitation on Pico Zero and Tiny boards, I decided I needed more. A random discarded 16MB chip should enough!

Did you know the Japan exclusive game Thousand Land had DLC? I didn't either until cheato of Alpha Archive found 5 of 18 previously unknown DLC maps just a few days ago. These maps have been archived and are now available on Rocky5's URL Downloader. consolemods.org/XCAT

Regular toggle switch board on my Block Buster Left test board. The switch levers are plastic internally so they are prone to breaking with heavy use and during shipping. Original DSK-1033 switches are pricy today, so this is an attractive option for people wanting a cheaper drop in replacement.

N.U.D.E. does not use a webcam. The only game that did is the Xbox Video Chat software from Japan. Yes that looks like the other prototype we have seen, red stripe aside. Try patching your device IDs into the game to see if it's detected. If you need any more help or info please let me know.

New product for Steel Battalion players! You can now use Thrustmaster pedals such as the T3PA, T3PM, T-LCM or other sets for your Steel Battalion controller. The Logitech adapter also shown is passive and I will publish the pinout for once I triple check it with more pedal sets.

I finished up work on another video project to go alongside the Xbox VGA boards. It's a simple YPbPr video and stereo+SPDIF audio adpater with a TI video amp, and the ability to turn the built in HD low pass filters off in that amp. Similar to a newer XOSVP or better HDAV pack.

Here's a peek at the Steel Battalion mainboard. It's all octal buffers, shift registers, a pair of XOR gates and a panasonic microcontroller. All LED and button resistors for the entire controller are on this board. Does anyone recognize the company logo on the 74HC595D chips?

Shipping out another small batch of new Steel Battalion parts to keep the old controllers running. These boards are funding production of the Thrustmaster pedals adapter. T3PA, T3PM, T-LCM (and more?) pedals can now all be used as replacement parts for Steel Battalion. Also don't forget to XCAT!
