Anybody know what happened to jennainwisco.bsky.social ? I know she changed her name on here once b/c (if I remember right) someone at work gave her trouble, but now she seems just...gone. I always think of her in the fall because she had some forestry background & ID'd my maple tree from a photo🌳🍁

Tried to cheer myself up after the Bill's game by putting out some of my fall decor.

Grandcat, Mr touch-me-not, decided he was going to sleep on top of me at about 4AM. Climbed on me & purred & purred. (I think he was cold) It was so cute & he's so rarely affectionate, I let him stay. About an hour later, I was awakened by his claws touching my cheek. He is such a little booger!😼

After I sat in front of the fan, rested for a while & took a shower, I rallied & made a meatloaf (2 actually, one is in the freezer) & mashed potatoes & peas for supper. Thank the gods tomorrow is game day, so I can watch the Bills and the day off 😃

I have been less fatigued lately (except the day after my covid vax) so I've been catching up on little projects that had accumulated into a huge backlog of things to do. Today I tackled one of the larger projects & holy 💩 I'm ready to collapse. Is 3PM too early to go to bed?

Last night's weird dream : different types of ice cube trays🤣🤣🤣 Different shapes, different colors. My favorite was blue & lime green. I know I saw a picture of an old-timey metal ice cube tray a few days ago, but why on earth would my brain hang onto that & turn it into a dream❓❓❓

I usually feel very tired the day after my covid vax, but today I got up & felt great. No arm soreness even tho I got covid & flu in the same arm! Then 3:00 hit & I've felt like gravity is extra strong on me ever since. Took all I had to cook a couple burgers for hubs & myself for supper. Nap time!

I'm not going to sit here scrolling this afternoon. I'm going to go out & empty some of my summer flower pots & start cleaning up the daylilies because Thur is the last yard waste pickup of the season. I wish they did a pickup in Oct b/c there's a lot left after Sept. I'm a taxpayer, I demand it!!😂

It's supposed to be in the 60s all week. Some might call that sweater weather, but I'll be perfectly comfy in shorts & a tank top (I'll put on a tshirt if I have to go out to a store or something) I hate sweaters. I find them confining and, well, sweaty. No long sleeves for me! No turtlenecks either

I think it is important to note that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a different neurotype, such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, etc. Pathologizing someone with Autism potentially exacerbates existing harms they’re likely already struggling with. It leads to harmful labeling and stigma.

Didn't sleep well last night*, so I went up to take a nap this afternoon, at which time the neighbor across the street got out his chain saw🤦🏻‍♀️ *woke up at one point in the middle of a work dream. I was trying to fill Rx for either diazepam or lorazepam, it was illegible & kept changing back & forth😂😬

9/11/01 hubs left for dialysis at 5:30am. I dropped the boys at school at 8:30, came home, made coffee, & called my hairstylist a bit before 9. She asked me if I was watching TV. I turned it on just in time to see the second plane hit. I'm not sure I can remember my exact timeline for any other day

I've seen so many mutual-aid posts lately for people who have lost their jobs, and it makes my heart ache because I know it's only going to get worse come January when the big ugly bill cuts kick in & people who haven't already lost their Medicaid & SNAP benefits get cut off. Sad times we're in.

When you do a delivery order from Walmart, does the driver get paid an hourly wage from WM in addition to getting tips? Do they get reimbursed for mileage by WM or does that come out of their own pocket? Trying to figure out if it's ethical to have my order delivered or if I should pick it up myself

I have a friend who messages me a lot thru Messenger. Long messages full of typos, misspellings, sentence fragments. Sometimes I can't even decipher it. And there's always "would you like meta AI to summarize your messages" on the screen, and I think it would be HILARIOUS, but I refuse to use AI🫠

When I was out running an errand today, I ordered a beverage that I did not realize had those tapioca bubbles in it🤢 I was so thirsty, I had to drink it, by keeping the straw pulled halfway out so I could get the liquid without sucking up the boogers I mean "bubbles." I don't understand the appeal.
