If you still believe OpalApparition used Claude “just twice”, or that she didn’t use it at all, please see her own words. You deserve to know and to care that you were lied to. I and other anti-AI writers she coerced into unknowingly editing AI processed text deserve to be furious at her deception.

I've been wrestling with how to phrase this for few days now and I'm sorry it's not better.
I messed up. I am sorry. [a green bar obscures a few words here] I owe you an explanation and a proper apology, and I want to give that to you because you have been my friends and you deserve to hear it directly from me.
But I can't do that in this exact moment as my life is imploding in ways I can't even fully process yet. I need to step away from the Internet for a while because overall backlash has just consumed me. You all mean very much to me and I'd rather have you hear this from me than otherwise, so I hope you would be willing to listen to me later, but if not, l completely understand.

You lied to all of us and used some of us in ways that are so coercive I cannot wrap my head around them. The way you used me, knowing how I feel about Al and how willing I have been to be a true friend to you has wrecked my whole shit. I am so hurt, l am so angry. I am so embarrassed to have put my faith in you.
I don't want you to be in danger. That is the nicest true thing I can say.

lrp OpalApparition marked “NO AI” all over her ao3 but there she was, using it. When people first started accusing her, I supported her. I didn’t read her HR fic but we were friends. She would never! There were many chances for her to cop to her lie of not using it. She never took a single one.

I miss that feeling too! There was also so much content being shared — fanart, fanfic, gifs, MVs, headcanons…it was such a great time to spend on twitter and just browse through my TL and see all the wonderful comments… i miss it :(

tbh it seemed to me that they (fans) were looking for any excuse to make drama so that the artist and studio would get replaced because they didn't like the art. which was petty af.

110

Bea🌺🌸🐢 @happilywickedb.bsky.social · 12/05/2025

yeah the manhua was so cute but cnetizens had issues with it from the start. first it was the art. they didn't like it. then they started digging and found that someone (who wasn't involved w the project but was part of the studio) was trash talking m/x/t/x and the novel and they ran w it

Years later and it still feels like CQL was a fever dream. We really got an epic canon divergent wangxian fanfic but made into a c-drama where we saw wangxian falling in love and mutually pining since their teenage years and I will always be here for it and won't stop rewatching.

viki needs to get sci mystery so they can work on whole new subs. The ones from youku suck! i forget how the timing is so off, u literally have a second or less to read a line of text before it quickly moves to the next one 😬😬

The one I experimented with colors the most! ❤️🥲 From March 2022. #fanart #mdzs

Lan Wangji reaching for Wei Wuxian as both of them fall into an unknown planet. A tunnel of clouds surround them, and there's a colorful background going from purple to green, orange, yellow, red, and purple again.

Bea🌺🌸🐢 @happilywickedb.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

Then this will drive you nuts because the ending is not like the novel at all 😓 it might be better to watch the drama first. U don't need to read the novel in order to get context from what I remember (unlike with cql). Guardian definitely stands on its own. They are 2 completely different canons.

It's like every year they do something shifty but this year takes the cake. Surprise assholes! There's video of gg talking to her costar and ppl read lips. There's also photos of what they tried to pull with the seats and we know how dd dealt with that. Argh. At least we got some eyecandy

010

Bea🌺🌸🐢 @happilywickedb.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

And not only did weibo awards did dd dirty, they also messed with xz during the presentation of LOCH when the main leads were supposed to show together they didn't even let him know to go up with her and he missed it! 😡 and a fancam recorded him apologizing to her when they all went up together 😬

The drama is still A+++, great chemistry and all the eye fucking 🤣. Just... if you read the novel first and expect a faithful adaptation, reincarnation and gods etc you will be disappointed. But if you take it for what it is u'll love it. I binge watch several times a year 🤧

130

Bea🌺🌸🐢 @happilywickedb.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

U could do either one tbh! Just like TU, there are a lot of changes made to the Live Action, mostly cuz of censorship. They had to change the plot so the LA is more SciFi, u'll see. But you don't need to read the novel in order to understand the story (or background) since the plot changed so much.

I mean, i don't know why i am surprised. I should've known they would try to pull something after they deleted their weibo post with the guessing cards where gg and dd were side by side...then reposted separately. But damn they played dirty this year.
