Everybody talkin' about the bully/sidekick dynamic and all I can think of is these two:

People say `if they wanna be legal just do it legally!' If it's so simple that a poor migrant worker who has no money can "just do it legally" then why do wealthy people need to pay $5 million for it? If it's JUST THAT EASY then why would we need this `Gold Card?" www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday floated the idea of replacing a visa program for foreign investors with a so-called "gold card" that could be bought for $5 million as a route to American citizenship.

What amazes me most is how easily people will throw their friends, neighbors and family members under the bus so they can have some sort of illusion of security, whcih by the way is nothing more than another round of lies. Party > People I guess.

Right-wingers saying the California government has failed seem to forget that the entire state of Texas falls apart every time it's too hot or too cold. I dont recall MTG and the dipshit orange fuckfuck crying about Texas when Cancun Cruz was flying to Mexico and leaving his constituents behind.

I think a funny joke to play would be if a journalist, when interviewing Musk and Trump, would say "Mr. President, how do you plan to ensure inflation doesn't get out of control?" and when Trump starts to answer stop him and say "Sorry, I was asking the president." --Jack Handey, probably.

Liberals are single-issue voters, by and large. That makes it difficult for Dems to win because an electorate may be 55% D and 45% R and still lose because many Dems won't vote for the preferred candidate as he or she doesn't champion their specific issue. We fail to see the bigger picture.

Every year there's at least one 5* who's going to flip to Nebraska football, and every year zero 5*s flip to the Huskers. Is Nebraska media that bad at recognizing BS or do they just hope for more clicks. My guess is it's a little from column A and a little from column B.

I'm seeing lots of `Republicans are angry at (name of appointee) because they are unqualified!" I read a lot of right-wing social media and news and they are not angry or freaking out. The only person they had any disagreement over was Gaetz but even that was minor. Don't believe the hype.
