A free digital zine full of lighthearted art for the Kingdom Come: Deliverance I&II romantic pairing, Sir Hans Capon x Henry of Skalitz! Mods: aphantomdweeb(main) & royalblueheart
![Graphic is titled, "contributor spotlight”. A yellow section says, "wiseguy - writer - @sourdough-of-skalitz" A circular profile picture of a fountain pen writing is surrounded by a medieval illumination of a blue vine with multicolored leaves, ending in a swirl. Below a divider reads, “hi everybody! thank you for checking out our zine :] i’m so grateful to be organizing a project like this, with such talented people! i’ve already met so many wonderful artists of all kinds, and i can’t wait to share my piece with you! <3” A writing sample reads, “Long after time has stopped being measured in hours, after even the nightjars have gone to sleep, after the two kings of Bohemia have thrown their temper tantrums and broken their toys so as not to share -- and then let their farmlands’ ash and dust settle again, Henry lays awake on his bedroll, his backache from the packed dirt below him softly dampened by warmth, quietly gazing at the silver moon above, a shape no larger or shinier than a piece of groschen. Hans has not spoken in a couple of minutes, one leg and arm curled around Henry in possession and evenly breathing, so Henry has to assume he’s sleeping now too, as with everyone else. He’s wearing his hunting greens again, as he so often does these days, cuirass and pourpoint forsaken in his Pirkstein roost to gather dust for a few stolen days. Their campfire, nearly slumbering itself, spills honeyed light over Hans’ form in ebbs and flows in the corner of Henry’s vision as he keeps looking upward. Here and there a star twinkles; God or one of His angels looking -- winking -- back.”
The writing sample is captioned, “sneak peek of a zine story in collaboration with artist asya pambouc”. There is a background of faint handwriting on a paper texture. The handwriting is a transcription of Hans Capon's tale of two knights dialogue from a romance scene in the video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
