I had to import every steam review *ever* to make this work, but now Gameplainer shows how many reviews each of your forum posters has made - making it super super simple to identify serial reviewers (and quickly see who owns your game reviews a bunch, but hasn't reviewed your yet)

Gameplainer monitors Steam reviews for changes, and as of today also detects refunded reviews! ... but a whole bunch of reviews just blew straight past the 2 hour return window 🤯 what is going on!?

A game refunded after 37.4 hours playtime.

Steam UX gripe: Every time I start a game that requires a controller this modal window pops up - which I appreciate as it's a reminder that the game *needs* a controller; ~ 𝒽𝑜𝓌𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 ~ you can't close the prompt with a controller, it needs a *mouse* 🫠 🎮

Steams's reminder that the game you've just started needs a controller can't be dismissed with a controller button press, and requires a mouse

as part of building Gameplainer I downloaded all of the steam reviews. This one is officially the "most played after leaving a negative review" They replied to their own review 11 years ago. in the past two weeks they haven't played the game for nine whole hours. What even is a steam review

Seven months later, Nintendo release an accessory for the Switch/Switch 2 which in my experience is *perfect* at emulating the original Virtual Boy 1995 Chris *knew* that the Virtual Boy version of Wario was the best, but only 2026 Chris got to play it. If you have a Switch and a spare $79, do it.
