Only 2 days left to help Simon Tytherleigh raise money to pay a junior animator - a proper wage - to help him finish his Cornish stop-motion short film! If you care about traditional animation, do give it a look: @kickstarter.com www.kickstarter.com/projects/sim...

Had a lovely time meeting potential Voice Actors for our Cornish Animated short film last Friday! Big thanks to @PixelPenzance for the quiet space and views. 🌞

Mulch, a live-action/animated short film I worked on last year, has been selected for the @frightfest.bsky.social Glasgow short film showcase! Mwhaha! Had the loveliest time working with the talented Henry Leroy-Salta & Alexander Tol. Lend them your support if you're attending 8th March!

Yuri Norstein was one of my major influences back when I was still figuring out how to animate with limited resources... and skill! Paper puppets are incredibly versatile. They can be great for novices to experiment with, but incredibly beautiful in the hands of the pros, as you can see below:

Give me a single screenshot from a video game that immediately makes you hear the soundtrack in your head:

Thank you for writing it! 🐈‍⬛ I sometimes work with video game loving young people navigating difficult circumstances. Although the discourse around games is getting SO much better, it's going to be nice to have a book to recommend to parents too.

Managed to finish reading Dune & "The Real World of Poldark: Cornwall 1783-1820" recently, so now I'm diving into one of my favourite subjects: Why do we play games? Started reading @peteetchells.bsky.social's "Lost in a Good Game" and highly recommend it! (As does Midnight)

Loved how you set the scene of your first playthrough! The ever-present threat of the timer ticking down and the soundtrack really stuck with me over the years.

I met a lot of lovely people over the years on "that other site", and enjoyed silently nodding at others. Hope we can all carry on doing the same over here!

Hello all! I'm Hannah, indie Animator. I work in Games and Illustration too, & mentor younglings across Cornwall when I have the time. Other than that I'm just a tiny nerd that spends too much time listening to video game OSTs. 👾 My brain 90% of the time:
