I have mixed feelings about this. As a fisherman, I'd really prefer to see all those folk on the golf course rather than sharing the waters with me. But I really hate to see the trees destroyed. They can't just be replaced.

We like the mail in ballots. We can sit down with the ballot and research any down ballot candidates we don't recognize and cast an informed ballot. [1] Then we drop the ballots off at an early voting location where they have drop boxes. Still waiting for email confirmation that my ballot 1/

The "power cool" suggests Samsung to me. I have a Samsung refrigerator. I will never buy another. Of course the ice maker doesn't work. Of course I have to pull everything out of it a couple times/year to remove the rear panel. On it's lowest setting it barely cools stuff below 40°F.

One day on a walk I saw a butterfly that looked much like that one harassing a bird perched on what must have been a very important flower. It just kept darting at the bird until it flew away. I was flabbergasted and looked it up and could find no reference to that kind of behavior.

Perhaps he was cheating Trump. I worked in an auto dealer shop decades ago. A couple of the other mechanics regularly ripped off customers. The service manager was OK with this as long as they didn't get caught. Then he found out they were ripping off the dealership too and fired both.

I saw a tire stuck in the shrub and another commenter confirmed that. Someone got the rope around the horses neck and tied it to the tire. I'm not sure what the next step is but getting stuck doesn't look like it.

The "banking laws" he broke were structuring withdrawals he used to pay off his victims in a way to avoid reporting. The victims were the story, not the banking laws. (Al Capone was convicted of tax evasion. That's not the story either!)

Local paper reported "boy swallows bean, mother rushes to hospital." (This in the late 50s in the US.) I'm not sure reporting has gotten any better. It seems like anything I see reported that I have first hand knowledge of misses the mark. (AKA the game "telephone.")
