Today is officially Dolly Parton Day in California and in dozens of municipalities across the U.S. It's 9/25, a nod to Parton’s hit single “9 to 5.”

The meeting comes with just months to go before midterm elections that will determine control of Congress for the remainder of Donald Trump’s term.
