Truthfully, the most underappreciated aspect of being a Handler is the bond you have with your Hounds. In reality words cannot describe the pain in your gut when you miss your Hound, you've trained them well, you know they are capable. Yet, you will always worry for your Puppy.

It's hard for Me to truly overstate how much I miss My Hounds when they're not around. Oh what I would give to just enjoy some time with all of them together. Get them a nice kennel to sleep in beside My bed and enough dog beds by the couch to relax together. My Hounds are my everything to Me.

With a sharp metallic clink the Handler's sabre met the muzzle. Wedged into the wire's gap the hound followed the assertive move upwards, half forced, half willing. The reflection of the sword blinded the hound. Regardless, her vision picked up on her Handler's face that pierced through the gleam.
