Ok wait, here’s a snippet of the process video bc its fun to look back on stuff like this (also for full transparency that I only used cain’s card as reference LMAO) I cant post long videos here but the full vid is on twt under the same handle (hamulette) 🩵 #NixPix

Dropping the reference here hehe (u can also see me use it as a reference throughout the whole timelapse LOL — which is only on twt under the same handle) This was definitely a first for me (drawing a complex background and angled pose) but im kinda happy with how it turned out ><

cyborg on a mission, what will he do? — This is very heavily inspired by cain’s pararoid card from the game mahoyaku (ref in reply hehe) I just saw the card and thought “this is so nixcore” 🦾🩵 #NixPix

streets were saying caleb was a cyborg in his myth.. and ever since, I always thought of nix as caleb… now, they were right and nix even commented so i just HAD TO draw Nix as Caleb ✋🙂‍↔️ #NixPix

Lastly, a fun fact. I actually initially wanted to make them a fusion between a doll and robot but I feel that’s not cyborg enough..? Wanted to initially go with that decision bc of idv lawl

010

han/ham/hans 👻🔦 @hamulette.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

Given their design, it felt very symmetrical so I decided to add the arm and the skirt~ I also wanted to give them a lot of features as a cyborg but it rlly just boils down to being speedy and having a defense system (arm) + modes of expression (face plate and halo “mood ring”)

han/ham/hans 👻🔦 @hamulette.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

The style i use to draw full bodies has large feet so I wanted to make use of that hence, the rollerskate feet the angel wings on the feet (greatly inspired by hermes actually lol). And ofc, aesthetic wise, I wanted to go very cyberpunk-y.

110

han/ham/hans 👻🔦 @hamulette.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

Design yapping: I havent thought much about their lore but I can talk about their motifs~ Going into designing them, I was alr set on having angel motifs bc I love angels a lot + I feel like itd greatly fit in with the cyberpunk deal.

han/ham/hans 👻🔦 @hamulette.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

My #nixona ‘s blueprint is finished~ I had a blast designing them and this is probs one of my favorite sona designs this year 🩵🦾

Anw, I’m just happy both choices are oc pieces/very personal to me too 🫶

000

han/ham/hans 👻🔦 @hamulette.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

More yapping: I was pretty torn between the kou piece (sept) and the guiying piece (current choice) as my masterpiece of the year. The kou piece is close bc its my first time painting digitally then, but I chose the guiying piece bc that took the longest + has the most storytelling 🩵 +

Finally have enough art for this year to make an art summary 🩵 I have to say, I did a lot of art this year vs. previous years yippee I’m p happy w my progress in art this year as I feel like I’ve challenged myself a lot this year (painting, full body, lighting, etc.) 🩵 #artworksummary2024 #ArtSky
