nope don't like that. anime proportions but realistically rendered skin and hyper detailed textures on everything it's not ai slop but the high contrast, uniform level of detail gives it that feeling

cool to see rayman isn't dead, but...... why is it a remake of legends? I know the wii u is over 10 years old now but the game still looks good. it had a great hand-drawn style that really stood out, and now it's a dreamworks movie? like the new look isn't bad […] [Original post on wetdry.world]

a visual I've had in my head for a while

A visual timeline of Sonic the Hedgehog video game releases, from 1999 to 2025.
A large cluster of sixteen games from 2003 to 2009 are labeled with "what they called the dark ages"
A large gap in the timeline of three games from 2013 to 2020 is labeled "the real dark ages"

minor context is that I just installed yugioh master duel and was greeted with a screen like this right away but this is an issue I've had particularly with mmo-type games for a very long time

Notifications tab in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel after creating a new account.
Six notifications are visible, describing new events, accessories, shop items, and card packs recently added to the game.
A scroll bar on the right shows this is only the first page of several.
