Did granulating watercolors for the background. I only just got a few to try out, but I'm liking the soft textures

Playing with teeny sketch books and other bitsy art supplies reminds me of the miniature watercolors and stationary I used to get from Sanrio as a kid! Goth thumb for scale :)

SUPERMAN last night was a blast! Also, as a former shelter worker, Krypto completely encapsulated the crazy energy of a 6 month old large dog becoming an unruly teenager -- the period that often got them dumped at the shelter! I loved this! Was he like this in the comics or is this Gunn's work?

PopCon Indy2025 was a ton of fun and the cosplayers were fantastic! I completed a con-circle finally grabbing a hello and snap of this debonair John Hammond who I first sited but couldn't catch at my first PopCon before the pandemic! Hammond says if you get the chance to snuggle Mothman, DO IT!

Prototyping a new critter pin! Been remembering Ollie, my friends pet ferret that was so much fun to watch play with a Kleenex box!

For fun I tried watercoloring a stamp. The feathery texture reminds me of temporary tattoos

2024 was weird -- due to an abundance of Life , I didn't do any live shows! But I still did this Artist Alley Stamp for Year of the Dragon. And I'm *almost* done with Year of the Snake for 2025. This means if you come see me at STAPLE! 2025 @stapleexpo.bsky.social, you can grab both stamps!

I've been working on my Tochtli/Aztec rabbit design for my Rabbits in Folklore pin series. The new design is much more jackrabbit-y!

First post, best post. My cat Yoyo is here to check things out and say hello!
