The incoming new Premier of Quebec will eventually be shown the exit door. The Crown will still be there. And that's the beauty of these fantasy games played by some.

How about those Tiger-Cats? If only we could've played Ottawa, say, 4 or 5 times we might've sneaked into the playoffs. Joking aside, I actually thought Hamilton was going to lose tonight. Kudos to the Ottawa fans who come out to cheer on their team.

I met up with a couple friends from Belgium I met way back in 2003 when Hamilton hosted the World Road Cycling Championships. He asked me how the Tiger-Cats were doing? When I told him, he said they were bad 23 years ago. Ouch.

A sad, sad state of affairs in Steeltown. At least they didn't give up tonight. Ticats last won the Grey Cup when I was still in university for crying out loud. But the season wasn't supposed to go like this :(

Previously I wrote about the lowest scoring game in Canadian Football League history. Yes, that 1-0 doozy back in 1966. But what about the CFL’s highest scoring game? The United Football League has kiboshed the Birmingham Stallions and Houston Gamblers. I don't know how anybody can get vested in this league's teams when there's no stability. I thought this thing had chance, but I am doubtful now. Too bad really because more football the better.

Whole thing seems like a cluster to me. What should've happened from the get go is Ticats to the Argos: "Here are the keys to Hamilton Stadium. Go at it. And we will also make our season ticket list available to you to sell prospective tickets to." Frankly should've done this with all three games.
