In 2019, the majority voted for parties with anti-Brexit positions (ie referendum or cancel A50). FPTP got Brexit done, not the electorate. Scrap FPTP first, then rejoin.

I've had enough of your intellectually bankrupt posturing. Fuckity-bye!

Where have I said we have to accept unlimited Islamic and low skilled migration? Oh, that's right. I haven't. And your "illustration" is nothing of the sort.

By the way, mourning the death of a genocidal war criminal isn't a good look.

So the Manchester bomber was born in the UK. As were most Islamic terrorists. Oh, and by the way: Would you say that attempting to kill people based on their ethnicity is a terrorist act?

You're in the wrong place with your binfire of a timeline. What's up? Are you bored with everyone on X agreeing with you?

Oh, and it also ignores everyone working for a church who isn't a priest. You talk about dodgy data, then produce a chart that's essentially meaningless.

Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
That's the US (and ignores the vast majority of US churches). Try again.

Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
Err... yes we do. The data may not be perfect, but we do know that migrants are not over-represented in the stats.

But if you cared about the victims, you'd already know this...
100 1
Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
Churches have facilitated mass sexual abuse of children for centuries; moving the perpetrators to pastures new every time the victim count became too high to ignore. Oh, and most of the islamist terrorism in the UK was carried out by people born here.

Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
And here you go again. You do realise how fundamentally dishonest this is, don't you? Once again: the UK takes in far fewer refugees per capita than most of our peers. If the "forum-shopping" you refer to is real, most are choosing *not* to come to the UK.
100 1
Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
We take fewer refugees per capita than pretty much any of our peers. Oh, and by the way: violent crime is pretty close to historically low levels.
100 1
Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
No it doesn't. You're *far* more likely to be assaulted by (a) a white British man and (b) a member of your family or family friend. And when you start to loudly denounce churches & sports clubs as you denounce migrants, I might believe you give a shit about victims.

Fecking autocorrect. Felons!

Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
And it's not "prioritising foreign melons over citizen safety". If you were really bothered about victims, you'd be protesting churches, children's homes & sports clubs for starters.

Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
3. Foreign criminals cannot be deported if they will face persecution, torture or execution.
100 1
Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
1. That's not a border security problem. It was a deliberate choice by the Tories, and the backlog is being reduced. 2. Fuck right off with this bollocks. Refugees are not obliged to claim asylum in the first safe country (and we take far less than our fair share).
100 1
Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
And, considering your first post in this thread was a defence of people who want to drown refugees (and prosecute the RNLI for saving lives), everything that has followed is "obvious bullshit".
100 1
Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
1. No we don't. 2. We have a legal and moral obligation to offer shelter to those displaced by war & persecution (and they're a small minority of migrants). 3. Criminals have the same human rights as the rest of us.
200 2
Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
You're clearly gullible enough to echo the obvious bullshit spread by all of the above...

Why did you want millions more people to die during the pandemic? Why do you want refugees to drown? Why do you support people who cosy up to sex traffickers & rapists? See how easy it is? Try again.

Nobody is "breaking into the country to game the welfare system". Our welfare system is less generous than the majority of our peers. And don't start with the "deporting criminals" bollocks. Farage & co are *very* happy to associate with criminals.

ReFUK want to leave the ECHR so they can persecute refugees (and anyone who tries to help them). You know it, I know it, and everyone else knows it. Go read a history book.

No they weren't. 1. Take a look at South Korea. 2. The UN cannot impose legislation.

You know full well what it means. When a Government strips the rights of "others", we know how it ends.

Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 20/09/2026
Oh, and the only reason we had "Covid lockdowns" was because the Johnson government was more concerned with enriching their cronies than following established protocols.

Withdrawing from the ECHR. As you already know.

I'd suggest that prosecuting charity workers for the "crime" of saving people's lives is "horrible bastard behaviour". Stripping us of our human rights is "horrible bastard behaviour". Taking £millions from criminals & Russian assets is "horrible bastard behaviour". Your mileage may vary.

They haven't abided by legal limits for years. They exploit loopholes (eg by sending out generic leaflets that don't mention the candidate or constituency, so they aren't classed as campaign literature). Those loopholes need to be closed.

Steve P 🔶️ @hammerdoc.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
They already know and exploit the loopholes. They spent loads on leaflets during the local elections, and none of it was in the expenses returns (because they were generic "Vote Reform" leaflets rather than candidate-specific).

On the very rare occasions I look at Facebook, I see exactly the same. People I grew up with, reposting every piece of far-right propaganda that comes their way. It's enraging and despair-inducing at the same time.
