Community partner SERVE has put out a call for volunteers and donations. Senator J.D. Ford and Devon Wellington are organizing volunteers to support those affected, and our neighbors at the Madison County Democrats are providing packed lunches from their headquarters in Anderson.

Right now, the most important thing we can do is take care of one another. Check on your neighbors, stay safe, and if you have the capacity, consider supporting organizations and volunteers helping those impacted by the flooding.

Our communities are dealing with the impact of severe weather and devastating flooding across Indiana, including right here in Hamilton County. HamCo Dems HQ will be closed today, Saturday, Aug. 15, as flooding continues to affect areas across the county and near our office.
