What confuses me is how he hasn't memorized his own phone number from needing it for administrative things. Whenever I'm sorting something out at a government agency, embassy, airport, etc., they usually ask me "what phone number can we reach you at" and I have to dictate it. It comes up so often.

I was talking with my sister about this exact thing recently, and she told me that one of the big reasons sports are segregated by gender is because men get extremely salty about losing to women. I don't know if that's true (I haven't researched it or anything), but it sounds plausible to me.

Sorry. To conclude this rant: Writing reviews for me is a nightmarish tug of war between "trust your gut, express your honest feelings" and "you need a mountain of evidence to prove you're not crazy, cause it's totally possible you're just irrationally angry for no reason". It never gets better.

Until eventually, the whole thing becomes so bloated, full of tangents and scrutiny of random minutiae, that I lose any semblance of a clear central argument or coherent point (+ it's usually full of cringy venom, e.g. sarcasm). It just becomes obnoxious to read, so I give up and scrap the draft.

E.g. I have to force myself to go through what I'm criticizing ~4, ~5 times, because if I'm annoyed enough, I misremember scenes and lines of dialogue. I hallucinate them as worse than they actually were. And that sucks, cause I HATE the thing I'm critiquing! Going through it again is such a chore!

So you don't even need to assume any malice or "evil" in the AI's thinking to be unsettled by the implications. I'd say any hypothetical about someone or something being all-knowing is scary, because it raises fundamental questions about what should or shouldn't be done with that kind of power.
