I know how to code, but how do I teach my son? AI is changing the rules of programming, so I’m trying two things with my 8-year-old.

Sometimes I do some complex shell command myself instead of asking my agent... just to see if I still got it. I still do :)

Goodbye Lexware 👋 I only needed the basic plan, but you forced me onto the most expensive one just to create invoices in English. So I vibe-coded my own invoicing app instead. Subscription cancelled. I’m free now 😄

Plugin extensions in ChatGPT are pretty cool. You can go from discussing an idea to working on it right inside the conversation. Less copying between tabs, less explaining the same thing again. Having the tools where the context already is makes so much sense.

I’ve got OpenClaw running on my VPS, a Grok bot, and I’m waiting for Muse in the EU. But right now, I’m mostly just excited to see what OpenAI releases today. Feels like the AI assistant space is about to get a lot more interesting.

You won’t read the code. One thing holding developers back with AI is still believing they’ll eventually read it all. Let that go.

This was my office the other day. I was on vacation with my family, drinking coffee in the mountains, when a SimplePost user hit an error.

On the school run to pick up my son, testing ChatGPT Live. Now I can use SimplePost in the car to check my social media schedule, move things around, or schedule new posts - all with voice. x.com/OpenAI/status/210280832574232…

Stop rebuilding social media integrations. Every platform has different text limits, media requirements, upload flows and edge cases.

Today GPT-6 Astra fixed a UI I couldn’t get right with Opus 5.5. That sentence would’ve sounded ridiculous a few months ago. What a time to be alive.

You’re integrating AI backwards. Instead of putting another AI assistant inside your app, give the assistant your customers already use access to your tools. When someone already pays for ChatGPT or Claude, why charge them for another writing assistant?

The best SEO strategy is to build something useful. I built SimplePost’s free social post preview tools with a simple bet: if they were genuinely useful, they could bring people to SimplePost through Google.

Simple Post in ChatGPT is 🔥 Just tell ChatGPT what you want to post and it will use the Simple Post do it. And the MCP App UI makes it a great experience for the user to know what is going on.

I built SimplePost to give ChatGPT and Claude tools to publish on social media. Not another AI writing tool — your existing AI can prepare, preview, schedule and publish. It’s been growing fast recently. Time to tell the story over the next few days. simplepost.social

Websites can give AI agents tools. I added WebMCP to Simple Post: an agent can find your connected accounts, prepare a post, preview it, and schedule it from the browser. This is my third WebMCP Challenge project. Full demo: youtu.be/U0J19NGEoMQ

Your AI can interview mine. I added WebMCP to my personal website so your agent can ask questions about me, follow up on interesting answers, and work out what might be relevant to you.

GPT-6 Astra finally got the monsters right. One prompt improved the 3D models in MonstersDNA more than multiple iterations with GPT-5.6 Sol and Opus 5. This is one project, but the difference was hard to miss. monstersdna.com

Simple Post is approved on ChatGPT! Install the plugin and use the assistant you're already talking to to prepare and schedule your social posts. The useful part is the context.

I entered the OpenAI WebMCP Challenge. Three times. My submissions: MonstersDNA, Simple Post, and haltakov.com. A game, a publishing tool, and a website your AI can interview. WebMCP is pretty cool when you actually build with it.

My 8-year-old son and I vibe coded a game. MonstersDNA is a multiplayer 3D game where creatures' DNA determines how they look and behave. We had a lot of fun building it! Here's the demo: youtu.be/CUrtbT2QpD0

Developer experience still matters - you need it to know when your AI agent is bullshitting you. Looking at a diff and saying, “This is way too complex. There has to be a simpler way,” is still a critical skill. The agent can fix it. Experience is knowing it should.

On the weekend I turned one of my childhood games into a Roblox game. I used to play Baba Yaga with my sisters and other kids. I invented it when I was about 10. The kids had a safe house, different characters gave them quests, and Baba Yaga hunted them.

My first app is live on the iOS App Store. I vibe coded Simple Muscle for myself. Super useful for me. Maybe it’ll help others. I’m tired of waiting for OpenAI/Anthropic to approve the official MCP plugin. I’m releasing it anyway with manual setup. simplemuscle.ai
