How about we all ignore him? Trying to rationalise anything he says is futile and over time will exhaust you. I know it’s impossible to ignore the man who could blow us all up during a tantrum, but I genuinely think Trump free zones on the radio / TV would help protect our mental health!

Fed up seeing posts analysing Trump’s behaviour. He’s insane, always has been, so get over it. Instead we need to focus all our attention on why people voted for him, what we need to do to remove him and having answered these questions identify what we need to do to prevent it happening ever again!

Yes, the Tories have a lot to answer for, but they are still the official opposition and it is their job to hold the Government to account on plans moving forward. Starmer refusing to answer questions and constantly referring back to “14 years of misrule” is getting tedious

Musk told the Polish FM, a long-standing conservative ally of the US, "be quiet small man". What I find so fascinating about Trump, Vance and Musk's verbal abuse of Ukrainians & Polish officials etc, is: can you imagine them speaking like this to a Russian or Chinese official?

UK perspective. The US is now an unreliable ally. It may not even be an ally any more. Since 1945 so many of our defence, security and intelligence assets have been built assuming US support. That assumption can no longer be made. Well done Donnie. Impact on USA???

Agree on reconfiguration, but perhaps not in the form the Russians hope.The complacency of last 30 years and dependency on US may be at an end resulting in stronger more confident Europe freed from need to constantly seek US approval for everything it does. Europe together is stronger than Russia!

Totally agree. BUT why was he able to get elected? Why did people who voted for Biden and Obama vote for Trump this time? Don’t underestimate the impact of the backlash to Woke. Push push push on the Woke agenda when people aren’t ready and Trump is the backlash you help to provoke.

Yeah it’s brutal and crass, but there is a grudging “wish we could do that” feeling re the layers of unproductive bureaucracy we have in the UK Civil Service and local councils, all stacked with work from home, clock watching, 4 day working week seeking, work avoiding jobsworths.
