There are a few ways to get rid of trolls right from the start: 1. Stay out of popular debates: They can’t feed if you don’t engage in those debates. 2. Talk above their level: not a hard thing to do. When they don’t understand, they don’t jump in.

It’s not intrinsically good. A cruel person being "authentic" is just cruelty without disguise. Maybe the real goal isn’t authenticity — it’s conscious selection. Choosing who you want to be, rather than vomiting yourself out on the world because “that’s just who I am.”

People talk about "being authentic" like it's a virtue. But if you think about it, authenticity just means coherence between the internal chaos of the mind and the presented external behaviour.

They are part of the fabric, just like pleasure. There’s no grand accounting where everything must be net positive. Reality isn’t trying to be “good” or “fair.” It just is. Panpsychism dissolves the question — evil becomes a local, subjective complaint, not some cosmic flaw that demands fixing.

Lately, I’ve been readin a lot about panpsychism — the idea that consciousness is a fundamental feature of reality. If you take that seriously, the problem of evil becomes irrelevant. In a world where experience is everywhere, suffering and pain aren’t mistakes needing justification.
