🔥 - Your flare gun can catch enemies on fire at long range. This works well against enemy Snipers.

🔧 - With the Gunslinger, you get Mini-Sentries that are cheaper and faster to build. Use them to distract enemies!

My man Gold! He's got quite a bit of muscle from working out and carrying his weapons and equipment around. I can't make him buff in SFM, so the best reference I have of his gains is this raffle prize by starzgravity. :D

[Mechanic's Misfortune.] My first Splatoon Raiders art! I got three ocs that tinker with weapons and the like, so I figured I'd make one of them the Mechanic. :D More info in the alt text! #SplatoonArt #SplatoonOC #SplatoonSFM #SplatoonRaiders

Spirhalite Islands - Day 1

"Today I was approached by these three fellows and got paid to fly them to this remote location. Now we're stuck here with a totaled chopper, no phone signal and salt everywhere. The prototype turret Gold wanted me to test out got heavily damaged too, but maybe I can still make something useful out of it.
Good thing I brought some much needed equipment with me, but I cannot say the same for my, uh... employers. Well, I guess this is what more impressionable inkfish would call an adventure."

🎮 [Devan's logs: Odd Controller.] 🦑 Lore art time! This one has Devan finding some games that were made by humans, with one item in particular getting his attention. More details in the alt text! #Splatoon #SplatoonSFM #SplatoonOC #SourceFilmmaker #SFM

"Today I found this collection of human games inside an abandoned watchtower. While this is a fascinating discovery and I bet Serrano would love to see all this, it's one of the controllers that intrigued me the most. It's unlike anything I've seen before."

"This one has an interesting shape, but... how am I even supposed to hold it? Was it some sort of prototype designed for a three handed specimen?
While I tried to figure that out, I noticed a specific writing present on not only this controller, but also a smaller one attached to a different console. My guess is that they were made by the same company."

"It also has this slot on the back, presumably for attaching accessories. I can't make heads or tails of this controller, but it's an interesting discovery all the same.
I'm taking some of these with me, hopefully the cartridges aren't too damaged to work with. It would be a shame to not get a single music out of them."

Sharpshooter - Arrows are affected by gravity, so try aiming above a distant target!

The Tenth Class - your umbrella grants mini-crits to a teammate of your choosing. Boost classes that are capable of dealing high amounts of damage.

Constructor - Build and upgrade Sentry Guns to defend your base!

Firebug - Your Flamethrower is more effective the closer you are to your enemies!

Overweight - Spin your Minigun without firing to be ready for approaching enemies!

Healer - Fill your Ubercharge by healing your teammates!

🪴 [Plants.] 🌱 A couple plants I drew in lineless this year. Do you have a favorite plant? :D #PlantsVsZombies #PlantsvsZombies2 #PvZ #PvZ2 #PvZfanart #BRart

Aloe likes to soothe. He likes to alleviate, he likes to restore, he likes to mend. But don't ask him to revive. He's touchy about revival.

Magnifying Grass understands the inherent power of a rainbow. Beneath her stoic features she takes great joy in delivering radiant multicolored destruction to the zombie horde.

Hypno-shroom has no trouble persuading zombies to fight on behalf of the plants. But he has yet to convince one to cluck like a chicken. "One day," he says. "One day."

"How did I end up here?" asks Gold Magnet. "I was on the fast track - corner office, full benefits, stock options. I was gonna be Vice President of Midwestern Operations. Now I'm here, on this lawn, in serious danger of being eaten to death. Ooh! A coin!"

G: It's great, it works every time!
S: It's humiliating.

G: Fine, grumpy pants. Do you have a better plan?
S: ...
G: We're doing it then.

S: We are NOT doing "Get Help", you malformed octarian.
G: Oh look, we're almost there.

🔥 [Teamwork.] 🐙 Nothing can go wrong with a team like this, trust me. I can't write much here, so I included a bit of lore in the alt texts. :D #Splatoon #Splatoon2 #SplatoonArt #SplatoonOC #SplatoonSFM #SFM #BRart

(1/3)
Lore time: These five team up every now and then for missions. Atlas is the self-appointed leader, but it's Silver and Yakuza who come up with strategies, while she and Gold are tasked with carrying them out. Simply put, they follow the brains and brawn dynamic.

(2/3)
While Yakuza's strategies usually leave him out of the battlefield, he's no weakling. If things go south or his plans aren't going the way he wished, he won't think twice to join the fight.

(3/3)
However, sometimes he and Silver have to get involved to stop Atlas and Gold from bickering with each other and messing things up.
Volt doesn't always participate, but he sticks with Silver when he does. Not that it stops Yakuza from including him in his plans though, as he believes the little guy needs more field experience.

🎃 [Spooky Hal.] 🦑 Happy Halloween! I didn't make anything this year, so have these old posters. #Halloween #SFM #SourceFilmmaker #Splatoon #SplatoonArt

"Toy Hal", made in 2020. For my first Halloween poster, I gave Hal a costume loosely based on Rockstar Freddy.

"Phantom", made in 2021. This time, his costume is based on Phantom Freddy.

"Spook or be Spooked", made last year. This one has Hal and Viper with costumes inspired by Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie respectively.

Part 2.
My device could handle custom lighting by the time I made this one, but due to issues with Viper's transparent body, I had to make do with ambient lighting.

⚙️ Hal. 🦑 The face of this account and one of my first Splatoon characters! :D I've been drawing since 2019, but I have surprisingly few arts of him. I'll post some more of them later. #BRart #Splatoon #SplatoonArt

"Cephalopods", drawn on March 2020. It's one of my few attempts at doodling swim forms. The octopus on the right belongs to a friend of mine.

"Improvement", drawn on May 2020. It's a comparison between my improved(left) and old(right) ways of drawing my boy.

"Character Card - Hal", drawn on July 2020. It's the first drawing of a series I forgot to continue, lol.

As for the oddly colored Explosher, it's supposed to be a custom weapon made by Hal himself.

'Doodle", drawn on May 2021. I don't have much to say about this one, I just made it for fun. XD

Hal @halgs64.bsky.social · 10/10/2024

Took me long enough to post about my drawings, lol. My doodles are my pride and joy, as I got started on 2D art way before learning about SFM. Here are some examples of the kind of drawings you might see from me! :D #BRart

A Mettaur from Megaman Battle Network, drawn on January 2024.

A Grapeshot from Plants vs Zombies, drawn in 2020.

A Platinum Relic from the Crash Bandicoot series, drawn in 2020.
