Susie’s hair turned out great because I did it in the wrong color. I even made myself a color chart but didn’t bother to check it before starting the hair pieces. They’re not freehand so at least I don’t have to refigure out what I did but still.

Work in progress of crochet amigurumi Susie from Deltarune; Sketchbook shows hair should be maroon but purple yarn was used in error.

What part of crochet in general is practical Like I am fuming, whomst the fuck does hours of work to make “attractive” or “practical” clothing Are you lost buddy? Has consumerism destroyed your desire for whimsy?

Screenshot of Reddit post titled “Granny square clothes are not attractive or practical.”

Body of post: There I've said it. I've kept my mouth closed so many times but l've just seen another granny square hotch potch top and just no. No shape, holey, not practical. I admire your determination to take the humble granny square in dk or chunky acrylic and turn it into a ball gown/ cardigan/dress/shorts. But they're pointless. The holes would catch on everything and you'd wear a couple of times as a fad and then never wear again. Sigh.
