Made this #WindsorTote from a Lori Holt jelly roll. Pattern from Moda for Natl Jelly Roll day. Interesting technique where weave the strips together and then quilt it, so no actual piecing. Can’t wait to take it to the class I am attending at Sisters Outdoor Quilt show #soqs

Wildflower Quilt is completed! Part of Toad Circle’s Mystery Quilt Sew Along. I went “two tone” using some yardage I already had. The pattern allows for scrappy as well.

Inverted stars in a 4x4 grid. Each star’s center are rotated flying geese creating a pinwheel effect.

Made for 11 yr old daughter, this quilt is Freya. Pattern: “A Piece of Quiet Quilts”. Fabrics: a mix of Kona and Michael Miller. Used Fireside in black on the black for a softer feel. This is one of my favorites as the shapes make some interesting “curves” due to the blocks being on point #quiltsky

Heh! Actually it’s using stripped piecing. Thank Jeebus. So 1.5 inch strips. There’s some sets of just two strips and other sets of 4 strips. And then cut into 1.5 sections. Finished squares are 1inch

Yes! I sent it to Trace Creek Quilting and used their pantograph called Chicken Wire. I don’t know the exact color but TCQ helped me choose and she called it a medium cream. www.tracecreekquilting.com/quilting-pan...

In case not clear, the OP is just a picture of my chosen colorway from my quiltink coloring. It’s not the completed quilt. This was definitely the most “intermediate” quilt I’ve done. I’m almost done. Had some interesting techniques. Just have to add the last sashing around the edges.

Working on @toadandsew.bsky.social Joplin quilt pattern. It’s been on my todo list for awhile but needed to find the right colorway. Used quiltink and came up with this. All Kona solids. The blue seems slightly brighter in the pic than in person.

Fresh blades in the rotary cutter. Fold yardage to cut through many at once. A stripology ruler makes cutting strips way easier and faster. I also use my ironing board so the “table” is higher. Bending over a dining table kills my back

Just finished piecing “Dashing”. Pattern by Lella Boutique. Used mostly their fabric line called Christmas Eve. Love the little Fa La Las and the florals which only ended up in the corners. Getting the same for the backing.

Finished Verbena quilt for a family member. The pattern used a light blue that I replaced with Kona Cinnamon. The rest of fabrics including background and backing: folk & lore by Fancy That. Background is white on cream. Beautiful e2e panto Feathered Spirals done at the longarmer.

From a piecing perspective, it really isn’t too bad. The solids have no front/back, nor pattern. There’s no angles/triangles to worry about. It’s just one big grid of 2200+ squares. Lots of chain piecing. They break it down into 9 smaller sections so it’s not too overwhelming. You can do it!

Lemon Blossom, pattern by KindredQuilt. My first quilt in the MQSAL with Toad Circle, and they come with curves. As I do, went a bit literal and got fruity neons, with a fun slate background. Then vintage, Parisian style lemonade print for the back and binding, then finished with a citrus panto.
