Who do you turn to when you foresee your own demise? AskJeeves suggests Cameron McCoy, Paranormal Investigator. Cameron is everything Ara wishes she could be: a charming free spirit who does what they want, when they want. In between slaying graveyard ghouls and vacuuming up the nuisance ghosts haunting Toronto, they seek a way to rescue their girlfriend from a mysterious garden hidden within a corporate skyscraper.
When new clues burst the cold case wide open, Cameron struggles to balance their guilt-ridden search for their girlfriend with their obligation to protect Ara from the vampires after her blood— and the growing realization that the two cases may be connected.
As Ara’s visions become more strange, she finds herself awash in scenes that contradict each other. One minute, she’s witnessing her own death, the next, she sees herself alive with blood dripping from her mouth. Ara begins to wonder whether she really is the victim in her story… or if she is the monster. After all, being a monster might not be so bad if it means an escape from society’s nonsensical obligations.
FAREWELL DAYDREAM is a dual-POV stand-alone novel with series potential, loosely inspired by C.S. Lewis’ Alice In Wonderland and “The House of Sleep” in Ovid’s Metamorphoses.

I do keep physical copies of my packing slips and waybill receipts, so no worries there, but I’m still questioning how a small business tool loses all of your order history when that’s a bare minimum selling point for many businesses 🤦‍♀️

Emphasis on free because they tried to tell me they will charge $5 per invoice, when this information was previously available to me on their website. As a business owner, I’m pretty disappointed that there was no warning our shipment histories would be lost.
