I'm so mad we missed out ont he VSK9 threepeat. Not because I love VSK9, but because Razen going from 3 to 1 to 3 to 0 would have been the funniest series of banlist changes ever.

Important question. I'm sick of the "Are Evil Twins siblings or girlfriends" debate, it's overdone and boring. My question is if it's BOTH, and if yes, is it gemcest or midcest?

Kind of at a point where I'm pretty happy with my BPRO pure Darklord decklist. This archetype still isn't great and needs the BLZD/Battles cards to really get going, but this has been performing better than I expected. Also petdecking go brrr. Also ignore side it's a WiP.

Icl, while YGO leaks can be fun in a way to discuss, trying to talk about them for stuff like Gee Em Ex is really annoying bc people will call the archetype shit while it's missing ⅔ of its cards, including the seeming centerpiece of the deck

350

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

I have that popular with friends thing and it's funny because like 50% of the posts I see from it are YGO and the other 50% are horny and I'm like "yeah that tracks"

140

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

Currently working a lot on Patron Darklord because I have a problem. Couple things I'm considering still: - Is Dom Spark actually good - 2 Ixchel I think is correct, second comes up a lot for grind but 3 is probs overkill - I wanna cut 1 non-nonengine/starter but I think everything's uncuttable

120

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 17/01/2026

Thinking a little about Abyss Actor, which is the only deck AFAIK short of like, stun/trap decks that gets to flex Songs, Impulse, and Spark in the same list. Still dogshit but kinda cool.

040

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 15/01/2026

So obviously going first side sucks yada yada, however: - MORE DARKLORD LORE WHOO - I do think this being highly flexible as a reward for playing trap decks is genuinely very cool, more fuel for my 12 trap non-engine Trix list

Once a month post but I top 4'd the Remote Duel regionals this weekend! Played Memento, was happy with (most) the list. Hopefully video soon with some help, or if not I'll post thoughts here later LMAO

haven't been posting much, busy life etc etc. playing this list for a convention this weekend tho. this is gonna be my chance to test before my regs next weekend.

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

Prepping for post-CRBR and this list is so fucking SICK. Breakers feel better into Ryzeal than HT and I think breaker Memento in general feels good, so this is 10 breakers that are also good going first which makes everything really fluid. As usual, 1 Fuwa bc I'm broke.

After some more testing, some quick realizations: - You kinda need the sixth Ritual Spell for turn 3 reasons, Cycle is the best Spell turn 3+ ergo it's the one I added - Toadally+Twins of the Eclipse is UNREAL, makes a lot of your lines much stronger, hence the big ED changes - TTT is broken.

Alright, Nekrozes are finally here, let's run through some stuff. First, just for an initial look, this is where I'm at with pure. Some small things here and there are suspect, but this seems to be around the direction I wanna be taking the deck for a pure list. (Thread below)

New Fiend Link 4 kinda rocks I won't lie. Obviosuly very strong card, and I get the concern about it being used for heinous shit, but idt most of those are real and I appreciate having a strong Link-4 endpiece in the game again now Apo is gone. ygorganization.com/thethirdvagu...

110

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 20/10/2024

Gotta be real y'all, there are exactly three things keeping me going in YGO right now (that aren't just it generally being my biggest hobby): - Memento being cool+fun - The upcoming Nekroz support next month-ish (this one especially god please I'm so excited) - The hope Drident will come home

270

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Alright engagement bait time let's gooo - Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG - TES III: Morrowind - Signalis - Picayune Dream - Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga - Pokemon BW - Blasphemous - Okami - Cells Idle Factory Incremental - Picross

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

I obviously know why people are doing it, but it's really funny to me seeing the posts where people just drop a list of their interests/hobbies to get into feeds. It has the same vibe as the "i got hacked crypto" twitter posts to summon bots but like, fully genuine.

220

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Getting closer to my finalized regionals list for next week. 2/2/2 on normals has felt nice; 6 is a good total number and 2/2/2 means I brick less on Breakout/die less to Shifter. 1 Fuwa cus, ykno. Money.

020

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Anyone thinking about YCS Orlando? I know it's abt 2.5 months away but I'm thinking about maybe going, SUDA drop+another banlist before then is making it seem like it'll be funny. Plus flight is cheap, only about 150 (probs 200 after tax and fees)

000

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Been in a Morrowind mood lately, so I started a run as a really squishy High Elf pure mage. I normally play tankier Spellswords so it's been a cool shakeup, but also AAAA MY CARRY CAPACITY IS SO BAD

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 17/10/2024

Guess I might as well start jamming some decklist posts, so new Gem-Knights! Cards are good for sure, but a lack of payoff means you're just making generic linkspam boards. This ends on like, Gryphon/SP/Colo/Azurune. Can also do Singularity instead, but regardless it's generic slop.

Posted this to the bird app as wel, but anyone planning anything for NAWCQ weekend or know if there's anything else worth doing in Austin that weekend? I'm sharing an Airbnb I can in theory use for 1-2 extra days before and/or after nats, wondering if there's anything worth doing that'd warrant it.

I think this format and Vegas has broken people's brains. I've never seen so many bad takes and such weird hostility in the community, and that's saying something considering I used to frequent shit like Pojo.

130

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 26/02/2024

I know it's been said repeatedly but damn YCS Vegas was ASS between the constant misplays/illegal activations, the winners, awful judge rulings/goddamn incident, etc. Even outside of the streams, I heard constant horror stories about the event organization/side event handling. Just miserable.

SUPER tempted to pick up the Yubel deck after seeing the new support, both because it looks very fun and because I own a secret Yubel signed by Jaden's VA. I'd be so cool,,,

A copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card Yubel, with a signature from Jaden Yuki's voice actor.

Had my first post-PHNI locals tn, a truly harrowing experience. I don't mind this format but damn going from pre-PHNI and still going X-1 at least to going X-3 immediately upon the new format 'cus pure SE is so strong feels wild.

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 20/02/2024

New development: Angwitch is bad. Only half joking about this, was thinking about it and I think Ang is the worst starter. She doesn't let you play through HT w Tatsu unlike Goblin and Darkblade, so I feel u cut down on her first. Maybe an argument to play 2 to keep one in deck but 1 is fine so far

000

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 18/02/2024

Also been thinking about a Runick list. The Fusion spell is an incredible pitch for Hugin, Runick+Memento puts like 10 cards in hand every turn, and extra bodies for I:P/S:P/Chimera are nice. Would probs try to fit 3rd Angwitch, probs over a Runick Spell or a TTT.

020

Halfmiss @halfmiss.bsky.social · 18/02/2024

Bluesky, as I continue to work on Memento theory, I have actually come to a conclusion after days of arguing/debating between Fracture Dance and Cranium Blast: both suck shit and I'm playing neither. Currently debating between Fusion Spell #3+15 nonengine or just 16 nonengine.

Memento Decklist containing:

Monster:
1x Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation
3x Mementotlan Angwitch
3x Mementotlan Dark Blade
1x Mementotlan Ghattic
1x Mementotlan Goblin
1x Mementotlan Mace
3x Mementotlan Tatsunootoshigo
1x Mementotlan-Horned Dragon

Spell:
1x Called by the Grave
1x Mementomictlan
3x Mementotlan Bone Party
2x Mementotlan Fusion
3x Pot of Prosperity

Extra:
2x Guardian Chimera
1x Magnum the Reliever
2x Mementotlan Twin Dragon
1x Predaplant Dragostapelia
1x Chaos Angel
1x Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis
1x Accesscode Talker
1x Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy
1x Donner, Dagger Fur Hire
1x I:P Masquerena
1x Relinquished Anima
1x S:P Little Knight
1x Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians

Side:
1x Mementotlan Mace
1x Mementotlan Fusion
1x One for One
1x Mementotlan Cranium Burst
1x Mementotlan Fracture Dance
