Before getting it's current name, Battle Racing Stars was known as Booster Raiders. Just as it had international release, Discord users could vote for a new name. Ironically, the final name wasn't among the options - it seems to be a combination between "Battle Racing" and "Joyrun Stars".

Feed the Deep, a game by Jetpack Joyride's designer Luke Muscat, includes a reference to his previous work - a mini-game called Mega Great Jetpack (MGJP, reference to Barry's Machine Gun Jetpack and the original working title). It's look is reminiscent of Luke's original flash prototype of the game.

After a little research I had to do for another racetrack, I came to realization why this inaccuracy happened... The layout is a near-accurate recreation of Big Blue from F-Zero, which seems to be a bit of inspiration for Marine Laboratory.

According to the internet, Fruit Ninja FX 2 was released on November 2012. This simply cannot be true, at least due to its use of Katsuro, character introduced in 2014. However, this can still be considered his debut, as FX 2 was first shown at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2013 on November 18, 2013.

"Fruit Ninja FX 2 is the second arcade game by Adrenaline Amusements based on Fruit Ninja. This new version still uses the Touch FX touchscreen cabinet. It adds new blades, more fruits, new visuals and the Pomegranate bonus. The player can add his character to the game using small figures found at the redemption counter. Fruit Ninja FX 2 is available as a standalone machine and as an upgrade kit for any Touch FX cabinet. A redemption option is featured. This game is showcased at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2013."

[Trivia] In 2014, Halfbrick was in talks with Nickelodeon about TMNT (2012 universe) crossover in Fruit Ninja. A pitch was unsuccessful, and Ghostbusters crossover was created instead. A TMNT crossover would ultimately happen in 2023, but with Mutant Mayhem versions of the Turtles.

[Trivia] For Jetpack Joyride's Ghostbusters crossover, Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston were all planned to be playable, sprites of their heads being complete inside the files. They were most likely replaced by Dr. Barry Buster, and with contract expired two years ago, they are not likely to be used.

[Trivia] (1/2) A movie adaptation of Fruit Ninja was announced back in 2016. It was set to be a live-action family comedy, with New Line Cinema and Vinson Films handling the production. It's been almost a decade since then, so it's safe to say it was cancelled long ago.

[Trivia] "Welcome To Fruit Ninja", the main theme from Fruit Ninja, was initially named "Welcome to Fruitasia" when it was uploaded with the other FN music on June 17, 2021. It was reuploaded under its current name on November 16, though Spotify and Apple Music call it "Welcome, Fruit Ninja".

[News] A new release happened on Android recently: Monster Dash Lite/Free. For all means and purposes, this is a 2020 remaster, because the original app reverted back to the 2010 version for Halfbrick+ two years ago. Not available on iOS yet. Dunno why this took two years to happen, but I'm glad.

[Trivia] The 2012 trailer for Jetpack Joyride's PlayStation Minis port is heavily based on the original trailer. In fact, the audio heard during the gameplay portion is unchanged. The trailer does try to hide this by recreating the footage from the original through the PlayStation port.

(2/2) This had to do with Mana Bar, a cocktail bar in Brisbane that ran from 2010 to 2015. Yahtzee founded it with Guy "Yug" Blomberg (who is also credited) and Shay Leighton. The bar was used by some developers to promote their upcoming games, Raskulls being among them.

[2/4] That said, one game got into crossfire... Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes. It lacked citation, and was soon removed. Krome also developed it, but Halfbrick was there... just for the PC version. Xbox 360 version doesn't list them and I assume same's the case for other versions.

[1/4] Thanks to a Wikipedia article on Halfbrick Studios, there was (and still is) some misinformation on what licensed games they made. Hellboy: The Science of Evil and The Legend of Spyro both used to be listed, but they aren't HB's games - fellow Aussie developer Krome was responsible for them.

[Trivia] Dan The Man contains files for the unused Chicken costume. It was added into the game proper in late 2024 as part of the Chicken God event, named "Devoted Follower". It is, however, not the same costume, and the old one still exists in the files, which can be seen if you have both unlocked.
