Being a school psychologist is so challenging yet incredibly rewarding. This career is more important now than ever. In a time when our government is sending the message that we shouldn't care about the most marginalized members of society, we care even harder. That in itself is an act of revolution

Some of this information is specific to Montgomery County (Maryland), but a lot of it is nationally applicable. If you have the privilege of citizenship, especially if you're white, now is the time to familiarize ourselves with how to protect our neighbors and communities from ICE.

This Valentine's Day, I'm focusing on the love I have for my community despite the times we're living in. This administration can't erase trans, disabled, undocumented, or other marginalized folks despite their efforts. I see and love you all. We will take care of each other.

My daughter is three months old tomorrow! I am so damn proud of us for making it out of the newborn trenches and surviving the 4th trimester. If you're reading this in the depths of #PPD or #PPOCD- it gets so much better.

Loved this month's Communique. I'm so happy to see us moving in this direction in the field of school psychology (this is in the most recent volume 53-issue 3 for those with NASP memberships)
