So proud of this guy today. Riding 5.5 miles after 8 years off a bike at 81 to support Audaxity & Cancer Research at MCW. And my sisters & wife for volunteering w/me to run rest stops, fundraise w/drag bingo & bake sales, helping our team raise over 20K. Amazing. #audaxity #mcw #cancer #research

Is there anyone in MKE whose basement didn’t flood? This is going to really rough on a lot of lower income and starter home neighborhoods, where small homes means lots of finished basements for extra bedrooms and living spaces. Everyone I know in ours has water. #flooding #milwaukee #wisconsin

My 50th in 2024. Hawaii, and I brought my 80 yo dad with, it was also his last state. My mom died in 2023 having made it to 49 states. We definitely didn’t bring a little bit of her with us and leave it behind so she could make it to all 50, as that would be illegal.

Done something particular to that state. That is why my Arkansas visit was kind of a phone in. Also, Alabama and Georgia were when I was too young to really remember. But like, I am not going back to any of those 3 and giving them my money any time soon. So I’m counting them for now.

My rule is that you have to have gotten out of the car or the airport & done something. I will admit to phoning in Arkansas on my way to all 50. We were only able to stop on the east side of the state, & there is like nothing to do there. We stopped at the visitor center for a pic & got lunch.

In the Senate, I proposed blocking tax breaks for people who make over $10 million a year. Every Republican voted no. Republicans then refused to rule out tax breaks for people who make over $100 million. And $500 million. Is ANYONE too rich to get a giveaway from the GOP?
