Haldbyrm actually does know magic for cleaning his clothes, especially of blood, but he's not the best at it. So while he's usually clean and smells nice, there's like a few stains on them that still presist.

Packing and unpacking and packing again all of his supply bags. Haldbyrm carries potions, weapons, bombs and other useful tools in special bags, and when it's the day before a big battle he gets extremely careful about not forgetting something he may need or what can save his life

Haldbyrm doesn't know how the tech works, but what he does know is how to get information from people. The S9 residents use these all the time, and by watching them he could figure out if there are any side effects and whatnot. He isn't afraid of new things, just cautions, and it seems safe enough.

If the choice is only between those, probably the Minutemen, just for the sense of relative freedom of action. He doesn't particularly care for the history, he just wants to do his thing. If he can choose to be anything at all, he'll probably be Courier though, that's the most Haldbyrm thing.

Angry. A lot. Still. He is naturally very forgiving, it's really hard to truly get on his bad side. But once it happens, Haldbyrm can be downright petty in how long he can hold a grudge. The twins may have forgiven dad, but 5 years down the line Hald would still remind 4chan that he dislikes him.

Selective. Haldbyrm doesn't have any formal education, but he has been an adventurer for so long he naturally picked up things from dealing with them. He more or less understands allagan tech and can disassemble a magitech engine. But Solution 9 tech is way beyond him

Do you guys fw monster Orpheus… (From an RP I did with @haldbyrm.bsky.social about the last hours before the Sundering, and the drastic measures taken during it)

Orpheus rose, no longer in the familiar shape he had taken before. Pieces of his armor clanked to the ground, torn free like a broken chrysalis, scorched clean off his chest. Where once was Orpheus's scruffy face now sat a maw of jagged black teeth, whitened eyes unblinking and staring forward at his opponent. A pair of horns curved forward and jutted on either side of his head, black blood dripping down his bony face like ichor. What remained of his armor covered his bottom half now, shattered remnants of his lower chestplate hanging down like a ruined kilt. His gloves and boots had not survived, claws on all four appendages now, nails like blades gripping the stony hands of Heracles.

He extended to full height, the transformation now allowing him to match Heracles' own, as his single remaining wing flew open once more, smoldering black blood spraying onto the ground. The heroic words Heracles had put forth had not reached him - the only thing behind Orpheus's eyes now was the visage of the red-haired girl held in his mind’s eye, his single thing tethering him to his determination to get to this New Divinity, and tear her powers asunder.

**Sa… ve… Eur… yd… ice…** *his thoughts stuttered on repeat.

With a sickening crack, Orpheus's jaw opened, and the beast he had become let loose a horrid roar - his voice was still his own, but it lacked the decorum entirely that he once carried even in their fight mere moments ago. The ground shook at the beast's screech, before he slammed his head forward into Heracles own in a brutal headbutt, putting his full force into the blow.

Restraint no longer seemed on the table.

Haldbyrm hates onions because once in his youth when he did not have a place to stay, he lived in the woods by eating the contents of an abandoned old crate of onions and nothing else. First time was okay, but after a few days of eating raw onions he hated them.

Both parallel and in down time. Haldbyrm always learning, always improving. During the MSQ he keeps up with his training, and when he has free time he looks for new things to learn. Most job quests happen around the time their levels would suggest, aside from Samurai and Dancer
