'Roofs, High Holborn.' (1937) Lily Joseph's view was painted from her studio in Bedford Row looking towards the Old Bailey. Her palette was almost exclusively of white, cobalt, rose madder and the rare orange madder. In her day, Lily was a noted Suffragette.

Picked up the 4K UHD release of Michael Arias' TEKKON KINKREET. It's a little pricey ( for me ) at $38 but the video quality is excellent, really showing off Kimura Shinji's stunning BG art. Highly recommended. I'll post more pics on my blog soon. Purchase link- link.amazon/B0eIYIk3l

it's so rarely "the teams that worked on this were so creative and resourceful, amazing that they were able to accomplish this in 2009" and it's almost always "boy, computers' gigaflops must have been a good rendering engine GPU's and whatnot" computers don't make visual effects, people do
