I'm hoping that's just for the trailer and that the game will be more heavily stylized

Doesn't seem to recognize Planeswalker commanders at the moment, I tried to check my Aminatou deck and when it asked me who the commander was it showed me every legendary creature in the deck but not her.

"Proposal" by www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/...

Panel 1 -
Fate Testarossa is busy working at her desk in her TSAB enforcer uniform.

Person (O-S):
"Sorry to bother you. Enforcer Harlaown."

Panel 2 -
Fate is given a document.

Person (O-S):
"I would appreciate it if you could review this document. Also..."

Panel 3 -
The other person is revealed to be Nanoha Takamachi, and the document to be a form for marriage registration.
Some fields are already filled in with Nanoha's personal information.
There is also a cute drawing little drawing of Nanoha and Fate on the paper.

Nanoha:
"...are you free..."

Panel 4 -
Nanoha:
"...on your next day off?"
Nanoha slides a ring on to Fate's left hand.

Fate (blushing, still looking at the form):
"...Yes."

I'm not saying that the lack of Big Head Mode started the enshittification of the game industry, but I AM saying that if you plot two lines on a graph showing the decline of Big Head Mode and the rise of microtransactions and other anti-consumer practices, you will see a clear inverse relationship.

Game devs in the 90s: "We could put a cheat code in that messes with the scale for various parts of the character models, as a silly little bonus" Game devs starting in the 2010s: "If we invert a color palette and lock it behind a license key, we can make people buy the deluxe version for $10 more"

...anyone whose main complaint about the deluge of product is "I can't make money off my packs" is interacting with the game not as a player, but as someone who sees it as a money-making opportunity at the expense of the people who actually do play the game. And those people should be laughed at.

To expand on this: players have legitimate burnout from the constant set releases, so barely spaced apart that one set isn't even out yet before WotC is shoving the next set (which is shockingly likely to be yet another Marvel UB set) into your face, and WotC should address this. However...

Not wrong that there's just too many different products coming out too quickly, but I can just tell that this lawsuit was spearheaded by whiny scalpers/finance bros upset because they bought as much stock as they could of every set after FF thinking they'd all be that huge and lost money flipping it

Today is a great reminder that we can never be too ready.

A chart outlining the RIP BOZO Readiness Condition (RIPCON), which is a riff off of DEFCON. There are 5 levels, with 5 being lowest and 1 being the highest. The chart details descriptions of these levels, examples and actions to take in the event something occurs.

#Connections sucks because you'll see stuff like Stern, Mast, Hull, and Cabin, and go "oh those are all parts of a ship", but it tells you you're wrong and the category is somehow "parts of a ship but only on the exterior", and Cabin is in the category of "words with two vowels" or some stupid shit

I don't have any strong feelings about him, but I feel compelled to defend him because everyone complaining about him is being so fucking wrong about everything else Like, not only did they miss all those games, but also Hunters doesn't have dialogue/interaction. Samus just shoots the other hunters

Prime 1 floated disembodied text on the screen when it wanted to teach you. No NPC going "hey you should scan this", but when you looked at something the game wanted you to scan, it'd remind you "press D-pad left to switch to the Scan Visor". Different situation, different framing, same tutorial.
