Did a quick 1CC and Extra clear of EoSD New Classic! The new music is great. I have old memories of listening to Chinese Tea while sitting outside on the swingset on misty mornings before high school. I got a bit emotional when I heard the NC arrange and even almost teared up! (nostalgia, I guess?)

I met some people at TouhouFest! Not pictured but equally cool: the game devs that had booths set up there, a fellow translator, and plenty of regular Touhou fans! I had a great time overall, and I'll do whatever it takes to make it back again next year and for many years after!

Touhou Danmaku Maze's v0.7 update took us a while, but it's finally out! I don't know if I've mentioned it here before but I do most of the designing+coding for boss attacks. Stage 4 changed a lot during development, but I'm pretty happy with it overall, especially the finale.

Part of what can make translating a game take so long is that I can't help but give feedback on the games I translate. "Mechanic X could use an explanation," "players may misunderstand X as Y here," "players might bypass X by doing Y," "X feels too frustrating," and so on. (1/8)
