Received my Nileswan yesterday, a flashcart for the WonderSwan. This means I can finally play this panda variant of Gunpey.

The pad went with the solder, but after a little bit of grinding and a patch wire, reads great from my Retrode.

I realised that I never posted the answer to this. It was a Grandstand Pong clone!

Nobody was saying it was illegal, but that it was amoral. Just say that you know and you don’t care rather than inventing reasons why you’re right in supporting a dictatorship.
Excerpt from a Time Extension article that reads:

"Boycotting a games system due to its parent company's connections to a disliked regime is simplistic, and imposes a 'tyranny of virtue' on others who wish to enjoy a perfectly legal product," says video game historian and Time Extension contributor John Szczepaniak.

The Dyson batteries I opened up a couple of months ago were 21700 which I couldn’t test (too long), so I adapted somebody’s 3D print to get them working.

This week I did some “battery chucking” from dead Dyson batteries, including one from the recycling bin at my supermarket’s checkout. 7 working 18650 cells that tested at around 2200 mAh.

Nothing like diagnosing faults in kitchen appliances when visiting family. This Espresso machine uses a standard CM6821 heater block which you can get for around 30€ new. You can get a working coffee machine, same model, for 20€ second-hand. I think it will be kept for parts rather than repaired.

Their take on Thatcher’s Techbase getting removed from the Doom remasters mods list by Bethesda.
Excerpt from article:
Creator Jim Purvis recently took to Twitter to share the news the game had been banned. I suppose a world where you can use the Trident Launcher nuclear deterrent and destroy respawning Tories might appeal to some of the country's voters, but no matter how you look at this game, it's Anti-Thatcher and certainly not a mod that Bethesda can allow to stay no matter their political leaning.
As soon as politics and gaming mix, things start to get a little tetchy. Gaming for me is like Switzerland, and when I sit down to game, I want to leave politics at the door.

And RetroDodo are Tory cowards, and definitely not journalists.
Excerpt from article:
We also want to make you aware (as journalists) that ModRetro does have somewhat of an affiliation with Anduril, so if you're against military actions or political involvement in some form, it's probably not best buying a handheld made of attack drone metal...
If you don't care, then by all means, snag one of the craziest handhelds we've seen all year.

Just finished a Neo Geo Pocket IPS screen mod after finding a boxed console for parts. The touch sensor to change the palette colours doesn't work, but it's still so much better than a non-working screen, or a non-backlit one.

I bought a camera blower to remove dust when modding handhelds and wanted to make a Gridfinity bin for it. It fits in a 2x5, but with plenty of wasted space on either side. Any ideas what I should make room for? Maybe space for a small lint-free cloth? #gridfinity
