Hi. Yeah, unfortunately it seems to be a rising trend from my experience. Unsure if this has always been around or if it's becoming "popular" now. Either way, my personal motto is to mute and block until it is done.

Maybe this happened because you worked on other stuff that gave the necessary inspiration or experience

My friends at the HOGM channel are proud to present their Halloween Garry's Mod animation. It's been in progress for 3 years now and it's inspirational to see the hard work they've put in. youtu.be/WakunpoGhww

I didn't think they looked weird or thirst-trappy at all, but the new ones definitely hammer the aesthetic home. Nice rework

[Garry's Mod] JudgementFail I was invited to make a poster for the House Party Horrors credits sequence.

FK gets all the hate, but sometimes it's got your back when nobody else does.

Lighting was done from scratch (as I like to do in Garry's Mod). Very mild fog glow effects on rimlights/golden bits and mild blue mist on the dojo were done in compositing, with a final mild color edit in post. Since I thought the poster already looked very good, I went subtle on the special FX.

The pose reference was Vergil's Special Provocation (DMC5), specifically when he points the sword at his target.

[Blender] WiP for a Fortnite poster starring Tsuki. Being able to change the glossiness on individual lights is very nice for metallic models.

I've been wanting to share this render I made for DramaKing's Beach collab for a while, and now I can on what is also the anniversary of Hatsune Miku herself. Happy 18 years! #hatsunemiku #初音ミク #gmod

A Garry's Mod render of Hatsune Miku, holding a small shovel like a hair brush, smoothing out the ponytail for a sand sculpture of herself. Said sand sculpture is holding a leek in its right hand. The render is layered onto a blurred beach back drop like a sticker.
The sand Miku is a retexture of xinus22's excellent HL1 model. It worked really well for the imperfect sculpt I was looking for.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LJY... Just a little something as a first exercise in Blender. (modeling, posing, lighting, and video editing) Blender as a video editor is shockingly more natural and flexible than Vegas Pro.
