If I was to be ultra positive I’d say we are still unbeaten. Harder to beat and maybe that’s the starting point on this project. But I feel like that’s really papering over the cracks. Poor performance. Was it the energy ? Is that what’s going to happen all season when there’s two games a week?

It’s simple what I I want from Liverpool today. Fight like you’re playing the best team in the world. Just like every game treat every team like that. Be so hungry to win. They’ve started the season poorly but they’ve caused us issues before. We need to be consistent. Hopefully we can win 2-0.

I was wondering earlier why don’t we actually just play Endo? I know he’s been injured and I’m not saying he’s the best In that position, he’s not. But someone actually sitting there in front of the defence just makes more sense over having a team that has no one sitting there.

The contact for the penalty wasn’t my issue. Why you could say it’s not a penalty is because the referee waited to see if the shot goes in or not. Why should they get two chances to score?
