Phil Hackman @hackmanglass.bsky.social · 14/12/2024This borosilicate marble was made using the trapped vapor of .999 gold and silver and encased in an intentional manner. The application here shows a nice variety of the color tones possible using the metals, 4 views of the piece shown 🔥👨🚀🔥 #handmade #glassart #contemporarymarbles #fume #staygold 050
Phil Hackman @hackmanglass.bsky.social · 13/12/2024I'm happy with the color tones here. Has some pastel and some reminiscent of watercolors. Freezing the motion at the right time is the evolution of this technique, I am learning. Fun times #handmade #flameworking #glassart #contemporarymarbles #watercolor #pastel #art 3161
Phil Hackman @hackmanglass.bsky.social · 11/12/2024Circled back to some colorful depth marbles. Depending on where it's held in light, there's a bunch of different viewpoints that appear unique. #handmade #flameworking #borosilicate #glassart #contemporarymarbles 160

Phil Hackman @hackmanglass.bsky.social · 27/11/2024This is a photo of a marble series that I'm revisiting this Fall/Winter. One of my favorite applications is using gold and silver to color the glass, this is a good example to highlight some of those tones. #contemporarymarbles #boro #glassart #handmade #flameworking #art #fume 070
