This is one of the things I find the most perplexing about Trump. My theory is there kid of mechanism where people only register when Trump lashes out against a different group but not their own.

What I genuinely don’t understand is how Trump can insult vast groups of voters (women, Muslims, veterans, Blacks, ppl /w disabilities, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, etc), but Democrats are perceived as being condescending. Trump did the same in 2016, but “deplorables” supposedly sunk Hillary 🧵

Geoff Hinton famously used this book as doorstop at his office in the Pratt building at UofT. Telling everyone he finally found a good use for it.
