I grew up in Northern Ireland during the conflict. I was nearly murdered once and hospitalised twice. I covered the Troubles as a reporter. Be in no doubt: this is frightening & real. Violence in Northern Ireland is of a type that folk in England, Scotland and Wales don’t understand. This scares me.

Though the early access build is obviously pretty rough, Paralives feels like the first life sim that could actually give The Sims a run for its money. Unlike Inzoi, there’s a lot of creativity and heart in it. Most importantly, it prioritises the quirky little details that so many Sims players love

My granny must have used TCP every damn day of her life. God knows what for, but the smell has always reminded me of her. Got a package this morning with some of her old stuff in it and the minute I opened the box the smell of TCP hit me like a train. Made me well up and laugh at the same time 😅

When I was 11, and just started secondary school, a bit in my class said he was signed with Element and spent his summers skating with Bam Margera (the love of my life at the time). He quickly became my boyfriend. We never spoke. Not sure we ever technically broke up.
