We're now explicitly banning projects developed using AI tools from :gitgay: git.gay following Codeberg and sourcehut having done the same, thanks for your patience on this matter, we've been meaning to get to this for a little while now * Hazel (@h)

RE: social.besties.house/@h/11728589604… to my dear friends still using Lexend, some of which i fear i may have influenced (im so sorry), you still have time to change and grow as a person. it’s never too late.

dm sans calls itself a geometric and was built off a geometric base but it’s very obviously heavilyyy leaning on neo-grotesque traits, feels very disingenuous they still call it that. i do not count it

Hazel Cora @h.besties.house · 17/09/2026

whoever let me have a geometric sans serif era all those years ago. Shame on you. You should’ve stopped me. I get a trauma response every time i see Lexend.

Please be actually willing to use it (even if for something shitposty) & also understand it costs ~$30/yr to renew with the next renewal being in just over a month and a half. Also, to clarify, I’m not trying to sell the domain (I do not expect anyone to possibly want to buy this LMAO) […]

“I hire designers if I can’t personally make a graphic, I would never use AI for that :)” but also “Making this simply would not be possible without the help of AI” are way too common as overlapping opinions, it’s such an obvious double-standard

Hazel Cora @h.besties.house · 07/08/2026

@lucasmz no this is a notification from @ellie

000

Hazel Cora @h.besties.house · 22/07/2026

basically we dont like it but im unsure how to make that a policy exactly, it’s gotten so pervasive and i dont want to prevent people from making forks of projects which have are using gen ai upstream, for one example
