With reports of Long-tailed Blues along the south coast cliffs here on Guernsey, I visited a patch of Everlasting-pea near home and found about 10 or so along a 20-yard stretch of field.

Had an hour or so on Pleinmont headland this morning and wish I had longer as there was plenty of common migrants, including about 50 of these Yellow Wagtails.

Saw this juv Rose-coloured Starling yesterday afternoon on the Guernsey @patchbirding.bsky.social patch, which is, I think, the 7th time I've found one on the island.

Yesterday I finally went to search for Brown-spotted Bush-cricket at Bordeaux, here in Guernsey. Netted one on just my second sweep - a new species for me. Only restricted to this single site afaik.

Found a superb insect on Saturday - Vedalia Ladybird (Novius cardinalis), from an oak tree at La Garenne Nature Reserve. A new species of ladybird for Guernsey. About 4mm long, hairy all over, and a very vivid red colour with black patches. Only a few UK records I believe.
