There were a number of spinning wheels (some working some not) but I pictured this one as it was unusual, with a metal wheel. (No idea whether the flax on it is accurate at all)

[The Sun, some deadnaming] And what struck me was the date - 14 August 2000. 26 years ago today, indeed. It was evidence the forces were moving with the times, and even the Sun was just fine with this!

It's generally a really supportive article, with a bit of outdated terminology, but everyone is just fine with this.

Went out to the Rollright Stones today. Luckily nobody set fire to our shed.

Starting to count down to holidays! Not often I manage to do a spread in my bullet journal with which I am pleased, but this actually came out as I intended ☺️

A journal page. Holiday is written across the top in stenciled brush letters, red on top shading to yellow like a rocket lolly, and a drawing of washi tape holding on a stencil drawn notepad sheet, as a sort of trompe l'oeil. The word Plans is on the washi, made with stickers.

Right. Theatre have vetoed two different swords (for a show with no combat, but an important plot point involving a sword), and this has meant we spent today making a scabbard out of plastic pipe, sticky backed vinyl, and air dry clay. (Cable tie ends will be cut tomorrow.) 🫠

4th anniversary of me spending most of the night in A&E with bilateral pulmonary embolism. Yesterday I managed a run of (just) under 40 minutes again! (Last time was this date last year...) I'm never going to be a runner, but maybe I'm getting back some fitness...?
