Bone Trade
Conjuration Cantrip (Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard)
Casting Time: Action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S, M* (a wooden stick, utensil, or rod)
Duration: Instantaneous
A creature you can see within range must succeed on a
Charisma saving throw, or you replace one of the bones in its
leg or foot with a wooden stick of approximately equal size.
The bone appears in your hand. The target takes 2d4 necrotic
damage and its movement Speed is reduced by 10.
At the beginning of your next turn, the bone returns to the
target’s body and the stick returns to you. The target’s Speed
returns to normal. Any damage sustained by the bone itself in
the interim is mended.
This spell has no effect on creatures which do not have bones.
Accepted Gift. If you offer the stick to the target before
casting this spell and it accepts it, it has Disadvantage on the
saving throw.
Fool’s Gratitude. If the target of its own free will thanks you
for the trade (even sarcastically), the trade becomes perma-
nent. This is a curse effect.
*The stick is consumed if the trade becomes permanent, as it remains
in the target’s leg.
Cantrip Upgrade. You can replace one additional bone and the
damage and speed reduction increases when you reach levels
5 (4d4; 15 ft), 11 (5d4; 20 ft), and 17 (6d4; 25 ft).

so there's a new site that's a lot like cohost.org, except it has some clever architecture to be super cheap to run (all posts are stored in people's own browsers (also great for privacy), and images can only be stored on external sites like imgur or catbox or other socials like bsky) noterook.net

god the square* dashboard UI is so bad, and I think it's gotten worse. incredibly slow to load every page, and navigating it is abysmally unintuitive. and if *I'm* struggling with it as a former engineer who worked there... whew *the small business software / pos systems, not the videogame company
