Dawnstar Class - Generation 3, Block II The first Gen 3, KNV Pax Aeterna, was meant to reflect this modernized refit of the Generation 3, which is also known as the "Original" Dawnstar (despite there being two prior generations) But Pax Aeterna was lost in combat before this could be realised. -->

Two 90" high velocity Coilguns adapted from a ground based planetary defense fort to be utilized in space, slung between two modified Gate Class Frigates. Was I in my right mind designing this stopgap heavy anti ship/orbital bombardment weapon? Apparently not. I'm terrified. The Ballista Class.

Arnhem Class - Generation II A fairly major hull refit removing the static broadside armament as it was deemed ineffective, enhancing her overall armour and returning to a turret arrangement. Complemented with eight armoured torpedo pods for the creation of a rather capable siege warship.

Apparently I managed to completely forget to post the Arnhem Class when it was created - she's another first rate, similar size and weight class to the Arbitrator and Libertas, the three together making up a sizeable chunk of the Kalypsan Navy. (Generation II model in my next post)

Libertas Generation IV - Updated main armament, secondary armament brought to up to spec with current advancements, changes to armour package bow and stern, as well as the armour over her torpedo banks amidships, creating less of a gap between the major sloped plate and the armoured housing.

Time to Introduce my outdoorsy hobbies. I recently, for a combined birthday and Christmas gift, received a Dwarflab 2 smart telescope. I have since used it somewhat extensively. The moon is very pleasing to look at.

Ah, here she is. The Generation 3 Libertas class. The original was an experiment on different building techniques within Bricklink Studio, that ended up becoming a favourite not just for me but among my friends too. A well rounded ship.

Recently finished the Generation 5 Dawnstar. I feel like I've come a long way over two years or so. Dawnstars are the pride of the Kalypsan Navy in my setting, and I'll be damned if they're not the pride of my vast collection of .Io project files.

Finally, can't forget this massive thing. The Acta Non Verba. A massive colony ship, inspired by the likes of BSG to not only be a colony ship, but be capable of defending her colony as well. That spinal beam cannon is stylised as some kind of wave motion weapon.

The Arbitrator class first rate ship of the line is a design I do like, but also one I don't feel suits the role it plays in my setting. Used some parts of the Tidebringer prototype to recreate her at a more suitable size, armament and capability. Old one pictured right, new one left.
