Great opening on 6m yesterday. It was still open when I finished work and managed 20 SSB 40w contacts, de GW5GDP #hamradio #50MHz #6mDX

Amazing to work HA5PT yesterday on 4m SSB. My first 4m contact of over 1000 miles. Not bad for 50w and my tiny low dipole, de GW5GDP #HamRadio #70MHz #SporadicE #4mDX

I'd like to send my huge thanks to all the Activators out there who have let me achieve this in a little under 22 months. You are all truely inspirational. #POTA #ParksOnTheAir #HamRadio #AmateurRadio

So 2024 finishes with just over 4800 QSOs from 171 different DXCCs, 142 of which are now confirmed on LoTW. Hope all of you have a wonderful 2025 and a brilliant year for Ham Radio.

Really chuffed to have Chased 1000 Unique SOTA summits in just two years of trying. #SOTA #HamRadio #AmateurRadio

Did my first POTA Activation for a while yesterday. Did 10m for the first time from Park GB-1251. Great to work 40 transatlantic stations at a rate of more than one a minute, wish I’d had more time. Many thanks to all that called me yesterday, de GW5GDP #POTA #ParksOnTheAir #HamRadio #AmateurRadio

Managed to work seven new DXCCS in November taking me up to 171. Burkina Faso, Cocos-Keeling Island, Venezuela, Guatemala, Monaco, The Gambia and the Galapagos Islands. Not many QSLs received this month but the one from Iraq was quite nice.

My biggest fear is that when I die, my XYL will sell my radio gear for what I told her I paid for it!

Great to work C5T this afternoon with just 70w and a Ham Stick. Knew I'd be lucky when I had this rainbow over the car minutes before I worked the DX-Pedition on 10m SSB, de GW5GDP. #C5T #HamRadio #DXCC #DXPedition #Gambia #Rainbow

Couple of hours at the Snack Shack car park in Caerphilly. Good to get the Greenland DX-Pedition and also the 3G7X DX-Pedition to Chiloe Island in Chile as well as a tasty quarter pounder with cheese and coffee.

So glad to receive this today for my ISS SSTV image as I only use a Diamond X50 antenna at 10ft off the ground. #ariss #ISS #amateurradio #sstv
